Hola, Amigo.

I finally finished American Heritage!!!! Woooooo! I took the final exam today, and I didn't do nearly as bad as I thought I would! I didn't think I had studied enough...
So on Saturday I decided I would start studying. I was all motivated and like:
But then Netflix called my name...
And then I shoved my face full of brownies and ice cream because that's what I do when I get stressed.
Bad habit, I know...

But for how things turned out on that test, I think I studied plenty. Really, the only hard part was the essay questions! So yay for procrastination, Netflix, and dessert! :)

The Scary Scale

So Friday I went into the doctor's for my appointment for my mission papers. Everything was going fine and dandy, but then the doctor realized I needed to get a booster shot for tetanus, get a test for tuberculosis, and get blood work done.
What?! 3 needles in one visit??? D:
They're picking on meee :(

I strongly dislike needles and shots. They make me really anxious!
Not that you'd ever worry, but I won't become a heroin addict. No way in heck that's happening. EVER. Stabbing myself with a needle? Nope nope-ity no siree!

On a scale from puppies to spiders, shots and needles definitely fall nearer to the spiders end.

Chanel's Scary Scale:

After "DEATHDEATHDEATH" are things that would make me faint.

My First Kiss Went a Little Like This...

OKAAAY, IT'S TIME!
Today it has been officially six months since my first kiss. Say whaaat? Time has been flying like a fighter jet! *pew pew*

Because of this wonderful milestone I've reached, I will TELL YOU A DETAILED STORY OF MY FIRST KISS! Ahhh!

For those of you who just want the gist, scroll to the bottom and read the section after the last gif :)

I'm honestly REALLY embarrassed to tell this. I don't even know why I'm doing this in the first place! It's like whenever I make a post on this blog, I just get this huge surge of bravery and share everything, which is really out of character for me!
Well, I hope you all can handle all my sharey-ness! I feel like this blog is more of a diary for me... I'm really writing all of this so I don't forget, because I'm one of the most forgetful people I know!

ANYWAY, the story!
Now, our Feature Presentation: Chanel's First Kiss! (Chanel's side of the story)

Adventures of a Sugar Rush

Ehem... An important announcement!!!!!

Okay guys, it's coming... This Friday will mark 6 months since I hiked the Y with Adam, so on Friday I will tell you the story of my first kiss, gifs included!!! PREPARE YOURSELF :)

Okie now it's time for my unrelated story of the week! :)

This past week I hung out with a couple of my friends from high school, Elias and Lori. After watching a movie, we decided to go to Sonic to get their half-off shakes after 8pm, because who doesn't like cheap milkshakes??

Anyway, so we get there and start drinking our milkshakes. And what's only natural for Lori after she takes a few sips?
SUGAR RUSHHHH!
Then I got super hyper too, probably from a combination of lack of sleep and sugar crazies...

So then we blasted the radio, singing our lungs out, and were having a dance party in the car while Elias drove around.
Unfortunately, it's pretty hard to dance in a car when you have a seatbelt on. It's very restrictive! So Elias offered to stop in Costco's parking lot. So that's what we did.
Lori and I got out of the car and danced our hearts out.
Then we drove back to my house and watched Youtube videos til about 12:30.
Typical Monday night in the life of Chanel? Mmm... Sometimes. :)
So much fun!

The Sudden Invasion of Paranoia and Worry

It's one of those situations where you don't even know how to react. My brain was trying to soak it in, but it simply couldn't.

Elder Gibby's mom texted me Friday night and told me that on Thursday, Elder Gibby had gone to the hospital and was pretty sick.

When your boyfriend is really sick and is in another country on a mission, what exactly are you supposed to do?!

I'm pretty sure this is what was happening in my head:
Emotions: Knock knoooock! We have a good amount of Paranoia and a heaping dose of Worry to deliver!
Brain: Maybe if I'm quiet enough they'll go away... I'll just think about puppies right now!

Emotions: Helloooo? I know you're there!

(After a good half hour, realization finally dawns on Chanel).

(Emotions break down the front door and dump their delivery in the foyer).
Emotions: Alright Paranoia and Worry, give it all you've got!
Paranoia and Worry: CHAAAARGE!
Brain: Nooo! NOO! GAH I JUST NEED TO STAY POSITIVE N' STUFF. PUPPIES, PUPPIES! AHHHHH!!
(Brain is successfully invaded by Paranoia and Worry).
So it's safe to assume that yes, I was paranoid, and yes, I was extremely worried.
He was in medical care and on bed rest for three days. I just wanted to know that my favorite boy was doing okay :(
