So I woke up this morning, and my first thought:

I GOT AN E-MAIL FROM MY ELDER! :) YAAAAYYYY!!!
Monday is my Funday of the week! :D

I really wish there was something I could do for Elder Gibby when he's having a rough time... I just need to accept the fact that since I’m thousands of miles away from him and he’s on a mission, the most I can really do is just support him, cheer him on, write him, and pray for him. Sometimes it's hard to only be able to do just that. But I hafta remember, this experience will help him grow and continue the process of him becoming the best man he can be! Gooooo Elder Gibby!

However, on the bright side, he got to play soccer! He’s crazy about sports (remember in the letter he wrote to my parents, his number 1 thing on the list was the he LOVES (capitalized and underlined) sports!), so I’m sure he really enjoyed that!

Oh, you were wondering about the title of this post? 
It's something related to embarrassment, perhaps?
Uh, so yeah. 
I just found out that ELDER GIBBY'S MOM KNOWS ABOUT MY BLOG.

I mean, it's not like it's a big deal or anything... It's fine, really! Except I wrote all these posts without keeping in mind that that was even a SLIGHT possibility. Well then…

I told Adam about the blog because I didn't think he knew about it yet, and I figured I should probably ask his permission if it was okay that I was posting stuff about him on the Internet and all. So anyway...

The conversation between Elder Gibby and me:

Elder Gibby: Haha my mom told me about it and nope your good!!!  

Chanel: YOUR MOM KNOWS ABOUT IT?!?!?!? NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!  

Elder Gibby: Haha...... 

Elder Gibby: I think its funny that you expect her not to find these kind of things...Dont worry she thinks its cute. Luckily I havent kept you a secret or else... ya haha  

Chanel: I'm officially embarrassed out of my mind. I'm going to go find a nice big rock and live under it. I'll come out when it's time for my mission… And I'll probably look like Gollum from Lord of the Rings. I'll understand if you won't want me anymore hahahaha.  

Elder Gibby: Really dont worry about it! They love you! Please dont hide under a rock for that long. But if you do dont worry I will still want you.... Your amazing cuteness is only a small part of why I love you but preferably stay cute! 

Good to know my dear missionary will still love me when I look like this in 8 months:

Hi Sister Gibby! :) I'm glad you read my blog!

Good grief, I get embarrassed way too easily, but I do a lot of dumb/embarrassing things! But as my roommate Juliana would say, "Do it with confidence, Chanel!" One of our many apartment mottos!

No worries, I won't go hide in a cave or under a rock or anything of the sort! Sometimes I wish I could proceed on obliviously with my life... But unfortunately that's not how life is. Sometimes your boyfriend brings things to your attention that would have spared you from self-consciousness had you not known! Hahaha I'm just kidding :) I'm really happy that she reads my blog, actually!

Anyway, Wednesday I should be going to hike the Y with a few friends! I'm so excited!! It'll be my first time up there since December. Awww!!! Good golly, I'm excited to go up there! Maybe I'll take some pictures :)
